We travel the same roads, pass one another every day, and often know little about the lives unfolding beside us. Inspired by the shared stretch of I‑15 that cuts through Salt Lake City, this two‑day exhibition explores the similarities and divisions that shape our community.

Join us in the Speakeasy for A Debut Gallery with Eddy Ekpo and mixed‑media artist Marlena Wilde, featuring painting, collage, and symbolic visual storytelling. Their work invites you to look closer, reflect deeply, and start conversations about identity, connection, and contrast. Guests are encouraged to visit the gallery at their own pace throughout the evening.

At 7:00 PM, go beyond the gallery walls with an intimate Q&A conversation with both artists. Hear how Eddy’s I‑15 project grew from a simple observation about shared spaces and unseen divides. Learn how Marlena’s personal experiences and themes of opposition shape her mixed‑media approach. Bring your curiosity and your questions — the artists will guide you through the stories behind their work and continue the conversation as you explore the exhibition together.

Content Note: Some works explore emotionally charged themes, including race, religion, and gender.

Guest Policy: This event follows the standard guest policy: members may bring up to three guests.
