Join the Edison House Food Drive and help support neighbors facing food insecurity across Utah. In partnership with Utah Food Bank, the Illuminates Club will collect donations at Edison House from November 3 through November 23.
This year’s food drive combines community impact with a little friendly competition. Members can support their favorite identity or interest club through fundraising and food donations, earning points toward club-wide bragging rights. With Wine Club returning as the reigning champion, the race is on to see which club comes out on top.
We’re collecting nutritious, shelf-stable foods that help make everyday meals easier for individuals and families in need, including:
- Peanut butter
- Canned tuna, chicken, and beef
- Chili, soups, stews, and canned pasta meals
- Mac and cheese and boxed meal kits
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Easy-open and pop-top canned goods
To ensure donations can be distributed safely and efficiently, please bring only unopened, undamaged items and avoid donating products packaged in glass containers.
When choosing items, think easy to open, easy to prepare, and ready to use. Many recipients may have limited access to kitchen equipment, making convenient and shelf-stable foods especially valuable.
Whether you donate a few pantry staples, rally your club for the competition, or contribute to a fundraising team, every donation helps provide meals for Utah families and strengthens our local community.
